Community Relations
The general purpose of SLED’s Community Relations Division is to foster positive attitudes of SLED members toward the community, to encourage exposure of SLED programs and services to the community, and to facilitate the exchange of information and concerns related to police activities between law enforcement and the community.
SLED Community Relations Special Agents engage with schools, colleges and universities, alumni groups, workforce centers, current employees, former employees, job fairs, cultural events, technical publications and professional associations to promote SLED as an equal opportunity employer.
