SLED Seeks Information as S.C. State Shootings Investigations Continue

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is looking to speak with a Person of Interest seen on South Carolina State University’s campus the night of Saturday, October 4, 2025, when two shootings occurred.
Anyone with information, including the person of interest pictured below, can contact SLED by calling (866) 472-8477 and/or by emailing tips@sled.sc.gov.
SLED continues to investigate the shootings that killed Jaliyah Butler, 19, and seriously injured one man. The photos below are sourced from South Carolina State campus security cameras.
