SLED Charges Two Barnwell County Women with Cruelty To Children

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged both Jessica Yvonne Creech, 41, and Yontia Jannay Grant, 36, with Cruelty to Children on Thursday, June 4, 2026.
The Barnwell Police Department requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Creech and Grant were booked into the Barnwell County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 2nd Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
