SLED Charges Sumter County Man with Insurance Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Jamari Demetrius Pringle, 19, with Presenting a False Claim for Insurance Payment, Value $10,000 or More on Thursday, October 9, 2025. The SLED investigation was requested by the South Carolina Department of Insurance.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Pringle was booked into the Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Department of Insurance.
