SLED Charges Spartanburg County Woman with Insurance Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Marshona Brown, 35, with two counts of Forgery - value more than $10,000, and Presenting a False Insurance Claim - value more than $10,000 on Monday, May 19, 2025. The South Carolina Department of Insurance requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Brown was booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Department of Insurance.
