SLED Charges Newberry County Man with Assault & Battery of a High & Aggravated Nature

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Tobias Shyheam Daniels, 34, with Assault & Battery of a High & Aggravated Nature on Thursday, March 5, 2026. The Town of Saluda requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Daniels was booked into the Saluda County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
