SLED Charges Mexican Foreign National with Vehicle Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged David Flores-Lopez, 55, with Forgery - no dollar amount, Fraudulent Application for License - 1st Offence, and two counts of Identity Fraud to Obtain Employment on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Flores-Lopez was booked into the Greenwood County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 8th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
