SLED Charges Kershaw County Man with Insurance Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Tyreek Louis Napoleon Broughton, 29, with Insurance/False Statement, Misrepresentation – 1st Offense, $50,000 or more on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. The SLED investigation was requested by the Kershaw County Sheriff's Office.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Broughton was booked in the Kershaw County Detention Center.
This case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Department of Insurance.
