SLED Charges Horry County Man with Alcohol License Violations

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Genci Cake, 43, with Failure to Secure a Required Beer or Wine Sale Permit, Unlawful Sale of Alcoholic Liquors - 1st Offense, and Unlawful Storage or Possession of Alcoholic Liquors in Place of Business - 1st Offense, on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. The City of Myrtle Beach Business License Division requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Cake was booked into the Horry County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 15th Circuit Solicitor's Offices.
