SLED Charges Former North Charleston Police Officer with Domestic Violence, Misconduct in Office, Kidnapping, and Pointing and Presenting a Firearm

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Larne Demarcio Green, 40, with Domestic Violence – 1st Degree, Misconduct in Office, two counts of Kidnapping, and Pointing and Presenting a Firearm at a Person on Friday, June 20, 2025. The Summerville Police Department requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Green was booked into the Hill-Finklea Detention Center, in Berkeley County.
The case will be prosecuted by the 9th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
