SLED Charges Florence County Woman with Lottery Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Germeane Roshelle Burgess, 19, with Intent to Defraud, Counterfeit Game Tickets on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. The South Carolina Education Lottery requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Burgess was booked into the Florence County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 12th Circuit Solicitor's Office.
