SLED Charges Edgefield Man with Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Quenell Marquis Anderson, 38, on Thursday, May 1, 2025, with Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime. Anderson has been incarcerated since March 20, 2024, after SLED charged him with the murder of Ricky Martin, Jr., 35, of Sumter, SC. The Johnston Police Department requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Anderson is being held at the Edgefield County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 11th Circuit Solicitors Office.
