SLED Charges Darlington County Woman with Insurance Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Shameka Reanda Delane, 44, with making a False Statement or Misrepresentation – 1st Offense on Friday, July 18, 2025. The South Carolina Department of Insurance requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Delane was booked into the Darlington County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Department of Insurance.
