SLED Charges Chester County Woman with Insurance Fraud, Forgery, and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Shakita Shawntale Head, 42, with Presenting a False Claim for Insurance Payment - Value $10,000 or More, Forgery - Value $10,000 or More, and two counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor on Thursday, October 16, 2025. The South Carolina Department of Insurance requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Head was booked into the Chester County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Department of Insurance.
