SLED Charges Chester County Man with Intimidation of a Court Official

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Phillip Dean Newberry, 33, with Intimidation of a Court Official on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. The Chester County Sheriff’s Office requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Newberry was booked into the Chester County Jail.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
