SLED charges Chester County man with arson and desecration or removal of human remains

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Derrick Deangelo Montel Dixon, 28, with Arson – Third Degree and Destruction, Desecration or Removal of Human Remains on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. The SLED investigation was requested on November 30, 2024, by the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Dixon was booked into the Chester County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 6th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
