SLED Charges Charleston County Man with Fraudulent Application for a License

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Shane Duan Bright, 52, with two counts of Fraudulent Application for a License - 1st Offense - on Saturday, January 17, 2026. The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Bright was served at the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center, in Charleston County, where he was booked on unrelated charges.
