SLED Charges Anderson County Man with Traffic Control Sign Interference

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Hayden Lawrence Frommel, 21, with Interfering with Traffic Control Signs on Friday, March 28, 2025. The SLED investigation was requested by the South Carolina Department of Transportation. During this investigation, six juveniles were also charged with Interfering with Traffic Control Signs. In all, more than 200 road signs were removed at several Anderson County locations.

Details can be found in the attached warrant.

Frommel was booked in the Anderson County Detention Center.

The case will be prosecuted by the 10th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
