SLED Charges Two Men with Ill Treatment of Animals and Other Crimes Related to Ongoing Dogfighting Investigation

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Jordan Joez Price, 25, with two counts of Ill Treatment of Animals, Criminal Conspiracy, and Presence at Facility of Animal Fighting or Baiting – 1st Offense on Thursday, March 19, 2026. 

SLED also charged Jamarcus Lee Culp, 31, with two counts of Ill Treatment of Animals, Criminal Conspiracy, and Presence at Facility of Animal Fighting or Baiting – 1st Offense on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Details for both Price and Culp can be found in the attached warrants. 

Both Price and Culp were booked into the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center in Richland County. 

The case will be prosecuted by the 5th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
