SLED Charges Two Men with Alcohol, Narcotics, and Firearm Violation in Charleston County as Human Trafficking Investigation Continues

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Benjamin Reyna Flores, 59, with Sale of Alcohol by an Unlicensed Person, Unlawful Storage of Alcoholic Liquors, Unlawful Sale of Liquor, and Unlawful Sale of Beer on Sunday, June 1, 2025.
SLED also charged Terone Lavince Lawson, 44, with Possession of Psilocybin Mushrooms – 1st offense, Possession of Methamphetamine – 1st offense, Possession of Cocaine – 1st offense, and two counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of Certain Crimes – First on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
SLED worked in partnership with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office.

Flores and Lawson were booked into the Charleston County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 9th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
