SLED Charges Two Horry County Women with Insurance Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged both Unique Shavon Johnson, 29, and Jamela Janae Jolly, 33, with Presenting a False Claim for an Insurance Payment - Value $10,000 or More on Thursday, August 7, 2025, and on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, respectively.
The South Carolina Department of Insurance requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Both Johnson and Jolly were booked into the Horry County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Department of Insurance.
