SLED charges two former Laurens County detention center employees with misconduct in office

Agents with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Nicolas A. Walker, 39, and Holly Lynn Walker, 34, with Misconduct in Office on Monday, February 19, 2024. SLED was requested by the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, to investigate allegations of misuse of inmate labor for personal gain.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Nicolas and Holly were booked at the Laurens County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 8th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
