SLED Charges Three Charleston County Men with Sexually Related Offenses

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged three men on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, in Charleston County. 

• John Douglas Osborne, 46, was charged with Assault & Battery - 1st Degree, and 2 counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct - 3rd Degree.
• Brendan Patrick Bryant, 53, was charged with Voyeurism.  
• Eric Bernard Bowman, 46, was charged with Voyeurism, Obstruction of Justice, and Publishing the Name of a Victim of Criminal Sexual Conduct 

Details can be found in the attached warrants. 

Osborne, Bryant, and Bowman were booked into the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center in Charleston County. 

The case will be prosecuted by the 9th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
