SLED Charges Richland County Man with Vehicle Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Joshua Sidney Gibson, 34, with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle - Value $10,000 or More on Monday, March 30, 2026. The Newberry County Sheriff’s Office requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Gibson was booked into the Kershaw County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 5th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
