SLED Charges Orangeburg County Man with Lottery Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged James Anthony Darr, 25, with two counts of Intent to Defraud, Counterfeit Game Tickets on Saturday, June 28, 2025. The South Carolina Education Lottery requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Darr was booked into the Orangeburg County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 1st Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
