SLED Charges Orangeburg County Man as Investigations Continue into October 2025 SC State Shootings

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged, Javarrious Jamison, 20, with Possession of a Firearm on School Property on Monday, August 17, 2026. The SC State University Department of Public Safety requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Jamison was booked into the Orangeburg County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 1st Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
SLED was requested by the South Carolina State University Department of Public Safety to investigate two shootings that occurred on campus the evening of Saturday, October 4, 2025.
