SLED Charges Newberry County Man with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Tyreek Latravious Brown, 26, with two counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor - First Degree on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. The Newberry Police Department requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Brown was booked into the Newberry County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 8th Circuit Solicitor Office.
SLED previously charged Brown with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, two counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor - Victim Under 16 Years of Age - 2nd degree, Luring or Enticing a Child - Victim Under 16 Years of Age - to Harm with Unlawful Purpose, and Trafficking in Persons - Victim Under 18 Years of Age - 1st Offense on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
