SLED Charges McBee Police Department Captain and Chesterfield County Woman with Obstruction of Justice and Other Charges

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Gregory P. Block, 40, with Misconduct in Office and Obstruction of Justice on Thursday, August 7, 2025. SLED also charged Janece Jorden Curtiss, 34, with Unlawful Conduct Toward a Child and Obstruction of Justice on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Both Block and Curtiss were booked into the Chesterfield County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
