SLED Charges Marion County Deputy and Lee County Woman Following Baseball Game Altercation

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged George Edwin Page, 64, with Assault & Battery 3rd Degree and Kathryn Jean Atkinson, 44, with Breach of Peace on Thursday, May 28, 2026. 

Details can be found in the attached warrants. 

Page and Atkinson were booked into the Marion County Detention Center. 

The case will be prosecuted by the 12th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
