SLED Charges Lexington County Woman with Seven Counts of Forgery and Presenting a False Claim for Insurance Payment

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Morica Dyshalik Rivers, 34, with seven counts of Forgery – Value Less Than $10,000 and Presenting a False Claim for Insurance Payment – Value More Than $2,000 but Less Than $10,000 on Monday, August 24, 2026. The South Carolina Department of Insurance requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Rivers was booked into the Lexington County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Department of Insurance.
