SLED Charges Georgia Woman with Assault & Battery First Degree

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Lori Angelique Paterson, 51, with Assault & Battery First Degree on Thursday, August 13, 2026. 

Details can be found in the attached warrant. 

Paterson was extradited from Georgia and was booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Center. 

The case will be prosecuted by the 7th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
