SLED Charges Former Spartanburg Convenience Store Employee with Lottery Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Jayda Delise Norton, 18, with Breach of Trust with Fraudulent Intent – Value More Than $2,000 but Less Than $10,000 and Intent to Defraud, Counterfeit Game Tickets on Thursday, August 20, 2026. The South Carolina Education Lottery requested the SLED investigation. 

Details can be found in the attached warrants.   

Norton was booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Center.

The case will be prosecuted by the 7th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
