SLED Charges Former Saint George Police Officer with Misconduct in Office

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Scott A. Oliva, 52, with Misconduct in Office on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. The Saint George Police Department requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Oliva was booked into the Dorchester County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 14th Circuit solicitor’s office.
