SLED Charges Former Convenience Store Employee with Lottery Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Kelis Cordasha Haynes, 19, with three counts of Intent to Defraud, Counterfeit Game Tickets on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. The South Carolina Education Lottery requested the SLED investigation. 

Details can be found in the attached warrants.   

Haynes was booked into the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center in Charleston County.

The case will be prosecuted by the 9th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
