SLED charges former convenience store employee with lottery fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Christopher Alexander Konwai, 29, with Attempting to Influence a Game by Coercion, Tampering with Lottery Tickets on February 3, 2025. The SLED investigation was requested by the South Carolina Education Lottery.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Konwai was booked into the Dorchester County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 1st Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
