SLED Charges Former Colleton County Clerk of Court with Perjury, Obstructing Justice, and Misconduct in Office

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Mary Rebecca ‘Becky’ Hill, 57, with Perjury, Obstructing Justice, and two counts of Misconduct in Office on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. SLED was requested to investigate by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Hill was booked into the Colleton County Detention Center, then the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center in Richland County.
The case will be prosecuted by the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
