SLED Charges Former City of Union Building and Zoning Manager with Embezzlement of Public Funds

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Kathy Ann Teague, 65, with Embezzlement of Public Funds - $10,000 or More on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The Union Public Safety Department requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Teague was booked into the Union County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 16th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
