SLED charges former Cherokee County deputy treasurer with embezzlement of public funds

Agents with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Tabbatha Ann Mullinax, 46, on Monday, January 8, 2024, with Embezzlement of Public Funds. SLED was requested to investigate by the 7th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Mullinax was booked at the Cherokee County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 7th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
