SLED Charges Former Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department Chief with Voyeurism and Embezzlement of Public Funds

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Joshua Perrin Parker, 49, with two counts of Voyeurism - 1st Offense and Embezzlement of Public Funds - Value $10,000 or More on Monday, June 1, 2026. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Parker was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General's Office.
