SLED Charges Former Anderson County Emergency Medical Services Employee with Assault & Battery

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Daniel Lee Fanning, 44, with Assault & Battery - First Degree on Friday, October 2, 2026. The SLED investigation was requested by the Pendleton Police Department.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Fanning was booked into the Anderson County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 10th Circuit Solicitors Office.
