SLED charges Dorchester County woman with financial fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Artasia Sanaria Scott, 24, with Financial Identity Fraud, Financial Transaction Card Fraud value more than $500 in a six month period, and Financial Transaction Card Theft on Thursday, January 16, 2025. The SLED investigation was requested by the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Scott was booked into the Alvin S. Glenn County Detention Center in Richland County.
The case will be prosecuted by the 5th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
