SLED Charges Dorchester County Man with Threatening the Life of a Public Employee and Assault & Battery

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Ricardo Darnell Jones, 45, with Threatening the Life of a Public Employee and two counts of Assault & Battery - 3rd Degree on Wednesday August 20, 2025. The South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Jones was booked into the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center in Charleston County.
