SLED Charges Cherokee County Man with Unlawful Communications, Intimidation, and Stalking

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Robert Dean Upchurch, 52, with Unlawful Communications, Intimidation Due to Political Opinions and Exercise of Civil Rights, and Stalking on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Upchurch was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 7th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
