SLED Charges Cherokee County Man with Lottery Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Zarmonn Brushaud Boyd, 27, with Intent to Defraud, Counterfeit Game Tickets on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. The South Carolina Education Lottery requested the SLED investigation.
Boyd was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
The case will be prosecuted by the 7th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
