SLED Charges Berkeley County Man with Vehicle Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Julius Anthony Middleton, 52, with two counts of Possession of a Vehicle with an Altered Vehicle Identification Number and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle – Value $10,000 or More on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Middleton was booked into the Hill-Finklea Detention Center in Berkeley County.
The case will be prosecuted by the 9th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
