SLED Charges Berkeley County Man with Vehicle Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Eric Sharone Wilson, 53, with four counts of Possession of a Vehicle with an Altered Vehicle Identification Number, three counts of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle – Value $10,000 or More, and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle – Value more than $2,000 but Less than $10,000 on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Wilson was booked into the Hill-Finklea Detention Center in Berkeley County.
The case will be prosecuted by the 9th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
