SLED charges Beaufort County man with attempted murder, two counts of murder, and two counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime

Agents with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Tayquan G’Mel Lampkin, 28, on Friday, February 2, 2024, with Attempted Murder, two counts of Murder, and two counts of Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Lampkin was booked at the Jasper County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 14th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
SLED was requested by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office on December 17, 2023, to investigate a shooting that occurred on Riverwalk Boulevard in Ridgeland resulting in two deaths and injuries to multiple people.
SLED Agents charged Andrew Lee Grober, II, 26, on Friday, January 26, 2024, with two counts of Murder, one count of Attempted Murder, and two counts of Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.
