SLED Charges Aiken County Man with Attempted Murder following Officer Involved Shooting

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Jacob Harrison Craven, 32, with Attempted Murder on Thursday, May 28, 2026. Craven is the subject of an officer involved shooting that occurred in Aiken County on Friday, March 6, 2026. The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office requested the SLED investigation.  

Details can be found in the attached warrant. 

Craven was booked into the Aiken County Detention Center. 

The case will be prosecuted by the 2nd Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
