SLED Announces the Passing of Arson K9 Gunner

It is with great sadness that the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) announces the passing of SLED Arson K9 Gunner. K9 Gunner started his career at SLED in May 2013 and medically retired in October 2016. He worked a total of 241 fires during his service.

 

Gunner participated in numerous K9 demonstrations at kids shelters, schools, fire meetings, etc.  He also worked on several fire investigations in North Carolina. Gunner, 14, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3. He will be greatly missed.
