SLED Charges Horry County Man with Financial Identity Fraud, Stalking and Threatening the Life of a Public Official

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Daniel Aaron Ledford, 31, with Financial Identity Fraud, Stalking, and Threatening the Life of a Public Official on Thursday, April 17, 2025. The Horry County Police Department requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Ledford was booked into the J. Reuben Long County Detention Center in Horry County.
The case will be prosecuted by the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
